What DaVinci Can Teach Us about Drumming
Join drum master and deep thinker Reuben Spyker for a course that goes beyond technique and patterns—diving into creativity, movement, perception, and musical imagination. Students will explore new ways of approaching rhythm, expression, and personal voice on the instrument, developing not just skill, but artistic identity. Ideal for drummers seeking inspiration, growth, and a more meaningful connection to their craft.

| Instructor Bio: | Reuben has built an international reputation for his signature speed, spellbinding dynamics, and melodic approach to drumming. He is sought out by some of the world’s top drummers to refine their technique and has presented clinics and masterclasses throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. His debut solo album Forward (2017) explored the boundaries of improvisation and compositional writing, drawing inspiration from natural elements to shape sound and form. His second release, Immersion, recorded with his duo project Duo Sirc, expanded his musical language into the world of electronic music, further pushing the limits of his creative expression. |
