Thick Kundal (Outer ring) and the best skins fitted, which provides 'clear tone'. The same good quality skins used on our Studio Dholaks. Please take a measurement of outer edge of the wood (take the old drum head off), Take a few measurements of the diameter and use the largest measurement. You will never get the correct measurement with the old drum head on, so its best to remove it and then take your measurements.
