Patrick’s beautiful original work for handbells, flute, and oboe is lyrical and engaging with a melody that will stay with you long after the music has ended. The melody is featured in the flute and oboe, magically interwoven with the gently flowing handbell score. It is so well-written your group will naturally play it with expression and nuance. It begins in 4/4 and with a nicely-crafted key change from the original Db major to D major as it segues to a gentle dance-like section in 3/4  before returning to 4/4 and the main melody.
