The hauntingly beautiful melody of this Canadian carol, "'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime", is expressively captured in this 3-5 octave setting by Ontario-based arranger Winnagene Hatch. The addition of the optional hand drum emphasizes the original Huron Indian flavor and adds rhythmic drive as the energy builds throughout. Ideal for worship or concerts, the arrangement is set in e minor, a minor, and d minor and is 70 measures. A reproducible percussion part is included in the handbell score.
