For use on Malmark handbells. The restraining spring and the yoke are the mechanical center of the handbell and are the parts which control the clapper strike. The yoke allows the clapper to swing back and forth in one plane, and ensures that the clapper is restrained from resting against the bell by means of a spring on either side of the pivot. The amount of restraint provided by each restraining spring is adjustable by means of the screw which holds the spring to the yoke/handle coupler assembly. Restraining springs are sold individually. Screws may be included at no charge upon request (limited to one screw per spring ordered).
