On the Road represents driving/biking or walking down the road, sometimes in the busy city traffic and other times in the wide-open countryside. Directors may choose to add non-pitched percussion instrumental sounds to complement this scenario. This piece was the winner of the Alberta Guild of English Handbell Ringers' Fred Merrett Award for New Compositions in 2015.
