Originally composed for Gloves Handbell’s 21st Anniversary Concert Beyond Twenty (2018), this work has been newly arranged for the 22nd International Handbell Symposium in Aberdeen, Scotland (2026). Inspired by Du Mu’s poem Walking in the Mountains and the composer’s hike up Hong Kong’s highest peak, the piece features handbells that capture the mountain’s grandeur and handchimes that depict the shifting mist around the summit. Structured in six sections, each portrays a vivid moment along the climb.
